Sophie Kil is the founder and director of Heel Appeal, a Winnipeg-based heels dance company known for its bold performances, high-level training, and strong sense of community. As a director, choreographer, and instructor, Sophie is passionate about creating empowering spaces for dancers to grow both technically and artistically. With years of experience leading showcases, training programs, and performance teams, she is recognized for her creative vision, attention to detail, and ability to inspire confidence and individuality in her dancers.
In addition to her work in dance, Sophie is an experienced event organizer and casting director, collaborating on live productions, workshops, music performances, and community events. Her background in talent coordination, production management, and creative direction allows her to successfully bring large-scale artistic visions to life with both professionalism and heart.
Known for her strong leadership and engaging presence, Sophie is also a skilled public speaker who is passionate about motivating and connecting with people through storytelling, mentorship, and community building. Whether leading a team, speaking to a crowd, or directing a production, she brings energy, authenticity, and purpose into every space she steps into.
